Our Mission and Vision

Mitra USA is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) community organization serving the greater Central Valley and engaged in charitable, social, cultural and community development activities through donations and fund-raising events with the benevolent support from its well-wishers and patrons. All donations to Mitra USA are tax-deductible. Mitra USA’s primary mission is to take an active role in serving the needs of local Indian and other ethnic communities – socially, culturally, and charitably – thereby help developing the community, and our younger generations to become responsible citizens – respectful of their roots and heritage. Our other objective is to support the noble causes of social and educational organizations in America as well as in India. We all share a common interest and love for our culture and traditions. With a mission to bridge the social gap between the Indian sub-continent and the United States, our involvements are geared to promote and contribute for giving back, cultural, and literary endeavors, social activities with particular emphasis on the heritage of India.
